Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm.

Pledge of allegiance.

Roll call: present – Niepoth, Fleet, Kotz, Hagood, Petrie. Absent – 0.

No conflict of interest was noted.

Motion by Fleet supported by Hagood to approve the agenda, carried.

Motion by Hagood supported by Niepoth to approve the minutes of Oct. 3, carried.

Motion by Niepoth supported by Fleet to approve the minutes of Oct. 7, carried.

Motion by Niepoth supported by Hagood to pay the bills as presented, carried.

Public Comment: None.

Dan McKinnon from the Bellaire Family Health Center was present to address the issue of fees for prescriptions. There was a question at the last board meeting by the supervisor about 50% off on drugs. Dan explained at length how the sliding scale worked and that they had not promised 50% off all prescriptions. That depends on your family size and your income. He offered ideas about other options and offered to help the supervisor if he wanted.

Motion by Kotz supported by Fleet to deny the request from CruseCom. Tech. for a tax abatement. Roll call vote: Yes: Fleet, Niepoth, Kotz, Hagood, and Petrie. No – 0. Carried.

The board discussed the Village DDA but the districts still have to be set up and there are no actions that need to be taken at this time

Letter from the County Treasurer offering tax foreclosed properties to the township

Motion by Niepoth supported by Hagood to refuse the offer. Roll call vote: Yes – Niepoth, Fleet, Kotz, Hagood, and Petrie. No – 0. Carried.

Officers gave written reports.
