Meeting was called to order at 7 p.m. and was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

Niepoth, Fleet, Kotz and Hagood were present, Petrie was absent.

Conflict of interest in the agenda was noted by Hagood in relation to the reappointment of Board of Review members.

Motion by Niepoth, seconded by Hagood to approve the agenda. Motion passed.

There were no December minutes to approve due to the clerk's absence.

Motion by Hagood, seconded by Niepoth to pay the bills with the exclusion of the bill for legal advice which will be addressed later. Motion passed.

Public comment: Bryan Smith had questions about property on Stover Rd. that has been torn down with the exception of one wall and a chimney. Kotz responded that he has already spoken to the zoning administrator about it.

Old Business: Regarding the bulletin board for the exterior of the hall, Niepoth has already installed it.

New Business: Tim Hannert spoke to the board regarding the Cost Recovery Ordinance proposed by the Bellaire Fire Authority. The board asked him several questions regarding the proposed ordinance and agreed it seemed to be a good idea. Kotz has made copies of the proposed ordinance and it will be presented to the Planning Commission later this month.

The board approved the reappointment of Tim Hannert, Tony Martinek and Rex Hagood to the 2015 Board of Review. J. Hagood abstained from the vote regarding Rex Hagood. Rick Winslow and Bryan Smith were approved by the board as alternates.

Concerns regarding our alarm system and the new fobs given to board members were voiced by Fleet. No instruction was given with the new fobs. Discussion followed and we should now have fewer false alarms.

Regarding the bill for legal advice a motion was made by Hagood, seconded by Kotz to pay that bill. Motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 7:58 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Joyce Hagood, Treasurer
