Kearney Township Board Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:01 p.m.

Pledge of Allegiance

Roll Call: Present – Fleet, Kotz, Hagood Absent – Niepoth, Petrie

No conflict of interest was noted.

Motion by Kotz, seconded by Fleet to approve the agenda as presented, carried.

Motion by Fleet, seconded by Kotz to approve last month’s minutes as presented, carried.
Motion by Hagood, seconded by Fleet to pay the bills as presented, carried.

Public comment: None

Old Business:

Work on Brydon Cemetery will be done on November 11th.

Hagood presented information on the new Kearney Twp. Policy Manual.

Report on the status of the outdoor bulletin board was tabled until next month.

Widening of the hall driveway was tabled until next spring.

New Business:

Kotz presented information to the Board regarding EnerCom asking Kearney Township to consider changing our electric supplier. Motion by Hagood, seconded by Fleet to stay with the provider we have, carried.

Kotz presented the Board with information regarding our Master Plan from the Planning Commission. He believes our current plan was never approved by the Board. Hagood suggested that at the next Planning Commission meeting our board representative present our concerns to their members.
