Public Comment:  Dave Howelman and Steven Grill gave reports about the contaminated plume of water heading this way from Mancelona.

The new sign is up at Flewelling Cemetery to replace the one that was broken over the winter months.  The Supervisor researched other local cemeteries to find out what they are charging for their graves.  Kearney Township has not raised the price for our graves in 15 years and our costs are increasing therefore the board feels it is time to have an increased charge to cover the expenses.  The board considered what other local cemeteries are charging and decided to charge what some of the lowest ones charge.

Motion by Niepoth supported by Hagood to refuse the offer from the County of tax foreclosed properties in the township, carried.

Motion by Fleet supported by Niepoth to pass the resolution for the Ambulance millage proposal, carried.

Motion by Hagood supported by Fleet to set the new purchase price for graves at our cemeteries at $ 350.00 each, carried.

Public comment time was given.
