Minutes


Meeting called to order at 7:00pm.

Pledge of allegiance.

Roll call present - Niepoth, Fleet, Kotz, Hagood, Petrie. Absent- 0.

No conflict of interest was noted.

Motion by Kotz supported by Hagood to approve the agenda with the addition of item "I" under new business "change the signature requirement on the tax account". Carried.

Motion by Fleet supported by Niepoth to approve last month’s minutes, carried.

Motion by Fleet supported by Hagood to approve payment of the bills as presented, carried.

Public comment: Burt Thompson, Manager of the Antrim County Road Commission addressed the board about the road funding proposals from the State. He also had a plan for roads to be improved on in the township for this year.

Motion by Niepoth supported by Hagood to approve contributing to the cost of paving Corey Court Road in Swiss Village East. They have money left from their bond fund in the amount of $10,393.00 and the township would pay the remaining $1,463.00. Carried.

Motion by Fleet supported by Kotz to approve a $2.00 per hour raise for the cemetery maintenance person, due to the cost of equipment, gas, etc. Carried.

Motion by Fleet supported by Hagood to approve the meeting dates for the township board for the 2013-2014 fiscal year, carried.

Motion by Petrie supported by Hagood to use Miller/Cook for our auditors this year, carried.

Motion by Fleet supported by Niepoth to approve the proposal for road repair work in the township this year in the amount of $ 97,822.00, carried.

Motion by Niepoth supported by Fleet to use Resolution for our annual clean up day,carried.

Motion byFleet supported by Hagood to approve the permit for Wolverine Fireworks to put on a display at Shanty Creek, carried.

Motion by Niepoth supported by Fleet to resume having only one signature necessary for tax account checks, carried.

Meeting adjourned at 8:10pm.
